LUUM is a Mexican ethnobotanical house devoted to skincare. Born in the Yucatán jungle, it begins with an exceptional ingredient: Melipona honey, produced by a native stingless bee.
For more than seven years, we studied how to bring this treasured honey into contemporary dermocosmetics, transforming it into treatments that are precise, stable, and deeply sensorial.
Our vision is to reveal the beauty and efficacy of Mexico’s botanicals without losing the artisanal rhythm that makes them rare.

XUNÁN KAAB
Xunán Kaab means the lady bee, the Mayan name for Melipona. In the Yucatán Peninsula, its honey was considered sacred for its rarity and deep bond with the jungle.
Hives were kept in jobones, hollow logs sealed to preserve balance, and opened only when it was time to harvest.
Melipona produces about one liter per hive each year. That is why LUUM works in micro lots, respecting origin and translating its essence into a contemporary skin ritual.
